Pillow Care Instructions and Stuffing Guide

This guide will go over different pillow sizes I offer, their appropriate amounts of stuffing, and how to care for them.

Currently I offer multiple sizes of pillow cases and typically I sell case-only online unless I have stuffing in-stock.

General Cleaning Instructions

  1. Remove any stuffing from the pillow case.
  2. Wash the case in the washing machine with detergent on cold setting. Do not use bleach.
  3. Case can be dried on full heat setting in the dryer but if you want to be careful, use tumble-dry setting.
  4. Place stuffing back into the pillow case.

If a pillow case is wrinkly, the wrinkles can be removed by placing the empty case in the dryer for 10-15 minutes. If the wrinkles persist, spritz the case with water and try again.

How to find stuffing:

I stuff my pillows with poly-fil both for online orders and in-person at conventions. Soda can pillow cases are also made to fit bolster insert pillows which I have gotten in the past from Pillowflex! Poly-fil I usually shop around for- it can be found at most craft stores and ordered online. You can also fill the pillow cases with any stuffing you prefer- some of my customers have found ways to fill theirs with weighted beads or even beans.

Below I will give weighted estimates for poly-fil to give a better idea of how much stuffing you need per case!
